The New Year is normally met with some effort of transformation to signify the end of an era and the fresh opportunities of a new one. An influx of feelings may sometimes be experienced or simple relief. Isn't it funny that by changing the year we are in, based on the running order of our calendar, we feel empowered to adjust our habits? Well by whatever twist of fate, most times readjustment is extremely necessary and the feeling of having a clean slate is never bad.

This New Year are you hoping for:

  • 0%Reinvention

  • 0%Recalibration

Please enjoy this poem by Aisha Malene.

RE-start

REsolutions are made as we start a new, whilst REdefining ourselves for the beginning of a season. REdedicating our purpose to what we now prioritize; REimagining possibilities that excite the adapted vision. Hope REstored at a set time as we wait to see if the impending REality is what we eagerly seek. However, in REflecting we need to acknowledge both the failure and the growth. To REclaim your life all things must be taken into consideration. As we REcreate our paths from the ashes of the past and the seeds of the future. We will REduce hurt as healing comes from acknowledging previous events and controlling the REaction to sprout only progress instead of the preempted destruction. Let us REsolidify the foundation of self so as to stabilize the basis of each stage.

REmember everything in life happens for a REason

REminding us that every trial serves as a lesson, REally

REquiring us to cherish each blessing, REcognizing that

REdemption is an attainable goal whenever we REbuild.

REmoving clutter to accept the newly ushered-in peace.
