The Stain of Sin

Have you ever washed something and even though the dirt faded on the surface, it's only after a good or proper soak that you were able to remove the stain that seeped in?
We have many practical examples, yet despite our efforts to scrub away the sin ourselves, we only manage to surface clean what needs deep cleaning for complete removal! People tend to say you can't truly be happy with yourself until you've done the inner work, but to that I have some questions.
What is your standard?
What is your goal?
We live in a world where the creation wants to thrive without the Creator; to that I say you are only seeking a way to survive.
We need to do a deep dive and thank God every day that we're alive.
Let not the privilege of this generation tear you apart within,
Jesus died on the cross to remove the stain of sin.
The lamb was slaughtered to hold space for you.
No need to cut the line as He wants us to return to what is true.
Once you seek Him and declare that our Saviour is for you,
Salvation is assured, so continue to repent and no longer be weighed down by sin!
